Killer Whales, also known as orcas, can occasionally
be sighted from most coastal regions on Vancouver Island.
The peak season for viewing is June to October, and
tours can be arranged from many expert charter companies,
located primarily between Campbell River and Port McNeil,
further up-Island.
Gray Whales or 'Eschirchtius Robustus' can
be observed from the West coast of the island, between
Tofino and Uclulet.

June until late October you can embark on tours to swim
and dive amongst seals and salmon.
